Jan 2012 Engine 341 was available in the area and came across an auto fire.

June 2,2011

Engine 341 was alerted for a shed fire box 5-9 on Spring Ave, Engine 341 was first arriving engine. Upon arrival crew found a brush fire to the rear of the shed, that extended into the shed. Crew from 341 laid 400 feet of supply line and placed 2 attack lines in service, and began to extinguish the fire. Crew got a quick knock on the fire. No injuries where reported. Crews quickly cleared that call and were dispatched to a possible building fire at UMBC.


4/7/11
3:23pm Engine 341 was alerted for a dwelling fire 37-1 box. Units arrived with heavy fire showing from a 2 story family dwelling. Engine 341 was 3rd arriving engine. Laid 500 feet of supply line crews place 2 attack lines in service 1 ½ + 2 /1/2 to help battle this fire. House was a complete loss no one was injured. Arson is suspected fire under investigation.

1050-PI Rollover S/B I-95 3/1/11




9/28/10- 1:30 am - Special unit 342 was alerted for a 1050PI in front of station 34. SU 342 went on scene with a passager car into a telephone poll. Crew from SU 342 accessed patient. 1 patient was transported to Shock Trauma priority 2 via IV 356.




8/20/10 8:00 am- Engine 341 was alerted for a 10-50 PI Benson Ave at I-695 underpass. Call was quickly upgraded to rescue with engine 341 going on location with a head on collision involving 1 car and a commercial truck. Crew from engine 341 went work with holmatro tool stabilizing car and extricating patient from car. One person transported to St Agnes. Commercial truck crossed center line hitting car head on.









7/9/10

11:00pm Engine 341 & Engine 351 alerted for a truck fire Vero Road & Knecht Ave. Engine 341 arrived and found a fully involved box truck. Fire was quickly extinguished









7/8/10

7:00am Engine 341 was alerted for a 10-50 Pi rollover, box 5-90 Northbound I-95 upon arrival units found a overturned SUV with one patient ejected. 1 person transported to shock trauma.







7/6/10

9:30 pm Engine 341 was alerted for a dwelling fire box 5-5. Engine 5 arrived and found single story family dwelling fire showing, Engine 5 requested the working fire.Engine 341 was the 2nd arriving unit at location. Crews from Engine 341 did a split lay of 400 feet of 4 inch supply line and picked up engine 5’s line. 2 firefighters received minor injuries.







7/3/10

Units were alerted for a dwelling fire box 3-18. First arriving units advised they had fire showing. Engine 341 was alerted around 6:00am for the 2nd alarm, upon arrival the crew from Engine 341 assisted with extinguishment and savage and overhaul.





5-8/10 Around 2am engine 341 was alerted for a 1050 PI. Box 5-90 Northbound I-95 between I- 195 and I-695. While responding the call was quickly upgraded to 1050 PI with auto fire. Truck 5 Engine 341 was first on the scene with 2 car motor vehicle accident with 1 vehicle fully involved. The crew from engine 341 pulled auto line and extinguished fire. No serious injuries were reported 2 patients were taken by ground ambulance for evaluation.







4/25/10- 0630hrs Engine 343 was alerted for a 5-90 rescue box Northbound I-95 between I-195 and Caton Avenue. Engine 5 arrived on scene and found an automobile that had left the roadway in the woods with 1 female patient trapped. Engine 343 was 2nd arriving unit at location, the crew from Engine 343 assisted engine 5’s crew with extraction of patient. This accident occurred sometime during the night the wreckage was not discovered until sunrise by a passerby. Other units on scene BC22, Truck 5 Howard County squad 1, Squad 354, Medic 5, EMS 2, Special Unit 342. Patient was transported to Shock Trauma for further evaluation.







1/13/10 at approximately 18:00hrs Engine 341 alerted for a Building fire box 5-9 Washington Blvd & Twin Springs Road. Engine 341 was first unit on scene with heavy fire showing. E-341 dropped 900 feet of 4-inch hose, placed 2 attack lines in service. Crew from E-341 proceeded with fire attack. Other units on scene assisted the crew from E-341. Baltimore City also had a full box assignment running. No injuries reported.









On 10/24/09 at 0745 hrs Engine 341 was alerted for firebox 35-3. A report of a dwelling fire.
Upon Arrival units found 1 dwelling fire showing and requested 2nd alarm. Engine 341 set up water supply on side Charile and assisted crews with extinguishment and overhaul operations.





On July 29, 2007 Engine 341 was alerted for firebox 34-1 the old solo cup building on Rome Road. Engine 341 arrived and found heavy smoke showing, from rear of the building. Working Fire was requested Crews tried to make entry into the building but it was to dangerous they pulled out. The fire then vented though the roof of the warehouse. The building was used to store large paper bails. This incident went to 6 alarms. There were several complications that affected this incident including low water pressure at times which hampered the efforts of fire crews. As well as the Nor'easter that was over the area at the time. It was a very long night.














May 14,2005 Units were dispatched for a report of a warehouse fire, box 5-10 the B Green Warehouse on Washington blvd in Halethorpe, Maryland. Several units reported heavy smoke in the area Engine 5 arrived with a warehouse wood frame construction building fully involved. This incident was upgraded quickly to a working fire and additional resources were requested . This quickly escalated to a multi alarm fire. No injuries were reported.
